Course Description

Prerequisites: None. Overview of the ophthalmic field including the anatomy and physiology of the eye, related structures and the visual system. The course includes: anatomical parts of the eye, adnexa and visual pathways; disorders and diseases of the eye; and clinical tests and diagnostic tools used to examine and detect various ocular health problems. (OPTS 1311). Note: Textbook required.
