Course Description

This is a gentle class that offers a variety of exercises designed to improve posture, flexibility and balance. Yoga balls, chairs, blocks, or straps may be used. All levels of fitness are welcome. Qigong, pronounced “chi gong,” was developed in China thousands of years ago as part of traditional Chinese medicine. It is similar to Tai-Chi and yoga.  It involves using exercises to optimize health and well-being. Qigong has both psychological and physical components and involves the regulation of the mind, breath, and body’s movement and posture.
