Course Description

Note: It shall be the policy of this school that all students provide appropriate photo identification upon enrollment.

USCG & STCW approved. Trainees will become proficient in stability and trim theory and its practicable applications. The course objectives are also aimed at providing the ship’s senior officers with the knowledge and competence sufficient to make full use of the stability booklet required for a vessel by 46 CFR 170.110. This course requires the trainee to have a fundamental understanding of basic stability and trim theory, as well as basic math and trigonometry.
