Course Description

Note: It shall be the policy of this school that all students provide appropriate photo identification upon enrollment. Students must be clean shaven for this class to ensure proper fitting of SCBA mask. Clothing: Long pants, closed toed shoes with socks, short sleeve shirt (no tank tops) Students must be able to swim or float unassisted for 60 seconds.

The completion of Basic Training Revalidation course will satisfy the continued competency requirements for Personal Survival Techniques and Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting in STCW as amended 2010, Section A-VI/1, 46 CFR 11.302(d) and 46 CFR 12.602(d), provided that they have at least one year of sea service in the last five years.
