Course Description

Prerequisite: Must meet the requirements listed in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 14, Part 107.61.

Note: Per Part 107.61: Must be at least 16 years of age.  Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language. If the applicant is unable to meet one of these requirements due to medical reasons, the FAA may place such operating limitations on that applicant's certificate as are necessary for the safe operation of the small unmanned aircraft.  Must not know or have reason to know that he or she has a physical or mental condition that would interfere with the safe operation of a small unmanned aircraft system.

This is a combined course, offering all four UAS/Drone courses: Part 107 Test Prep, Flight Ops, and two advanced courses. This course prepares students for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Aeronautical Knowledge Test required to earn the FAA Part 107 pilot's license and assists students with becoming better sUAS pilots by gaining flight experience, reviewing laws/regulations, and expanding upon the science behind unmanned flight.
