Course Description

This is the first course in the Process Safety Certificate Program and is a prerequisite for the other courses in the certificate program.  This course provides an overview of process safety programs for industrial settings. Suitable for operators, engineers, and management.  This introductory level course will be delivered in a hybrid format with 24 hours of online instruction and 24 hours of lab time. The lab days will be scheduled as one 8-hour day per per month. Lab dates are the following three Fridays: Sept. 10, Oct. 15, Nov. 5.  (Additional lab dates may be scheduled if required by enrollment numbers.) 

No textbook is required.  Participants must have access to a computer with an internet connection and a printer.

Late self-registrations are allowed through Sept. 6.  Late registrations are allowed through Sept. 9 with special permission.
