Course Description

The Safety Council presents PowerSafe for Lineman. This module was built with the extensive input of professional linemen. Much of what you see will include familiar elements of your day-to-day work woven together with essential safety factors needed to keep you alive. The module covers: Rubber Protective Equipment; Rubber Goods Protection; Cover-up Training; Two-Man Rule and Qualified Observer; Shock Hazards; Fall Prevention and Protection; Pole Climbing; Chainsaw Safety; Digger Derricks and Pole Handling; Aerial Work Platforms; PRE-REQUISITES: A passing /not expired PowerSafe T&D Baseline or Baseline Refresher Training course is required before attending this class.
