Course Description

Prerequisite: Must meet the requirements listed in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 14, Part 107.61.  MUST have completed FAA Part 107 Test Prep (NFND 59635) or have a current Part 107 license.

Note: Per Part 107.61: Must be at least 16 years of age.  Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language. If the applicant is unable to meet one of these requirements due to medical reasons, the FAA may place such operating limitations on that applicant's certificate as are necessary for the safe operation of the small unmanned aircraft.  Must not know or have reason to know that he or she has a physical or mental condition that would interfere with the safe operation of a small unmanned aircraft system.

This course assists students with becoming better sUAS pilots by gaining flight experience, reviewing laws/regulations, and expanding upon the science behind unmanned flight.  Students must have either completed the FAA Part 107 Test Prep (NFND 59635) or have a current Part 107 license.
