Course Description

Prerequisite: High school/GED and proficiency in reading, writing and math; Introduction to Logistics (self-led online-training modules)

Note: eBook required- Supply Chain Logistics: Foundation Knowledge.

This instructor-led course provides students with the foundational broad knowledge they will need to understand the world of supply chain and related core competencies. Students will acquire an understanding of the global supply chain, the logistics environment, safety, safe equipment operation, material handling equipment, quality control, workplace communication, teamwork and problem solving and using computers. This course is aligned with MSSC standards and the first step towards eligibility of the CLT industry certification.
